ABAF-BVFA and Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School join forces on training and qualification as from 2012 onwards. Therefore we offer a new Part-time Masters in Finance Programme in Brussels starting January 2012 preparing young professionals for the international financial sector and preparing them even better for the FSA accredited Certified International Investment Analyst exam (CIIA). People following and succeeding this joint programme automatically obtain the CIIA Foundation level and can participate directly to the CIIA Final exam session. The programme combines both the Academic and Finance Professional world and brings a unique resource for talent development and retention, financial skill building and professional certification to the Belgian and international financial and financial services community.

We designed this 18 month training for professionals working in Investment Banking (Equity and Fixed Income Research, Trading and Sales, Corporate Finance and Structured Finance, Going Public, Mergers & Acquisitions, Project Finance, Private Equity); Asset Management (including Risk Management, Performance Measurement and Analysis, Private Banking); Investment and Management Consultancy; Accounting and Auditing and Capital Markets Communication / Investor Relations, Finance and Accounting. Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School is the only triple accredited (Equis, AMBA and AACSB) and Financial Times ranked business school in Belgium. Its fulltime Masters of Finance programme, based in Gent, has been preparing students for an international career in Finance since 1984, and is a CFA partner programme since 2008. As part of its commitment to build a world class Centre for Financial Services in Brussels, Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School will now be offering a part-time version of its Finance Masters for working professionals.

Students graduating from this Brussels Vlerick Part-time Masters Degree in June 2013 will be invited to sit the CIIA Final Exams in September 2013 and will as such receive the UK FSA accreditation. As such this 18 month programme brings the existing CIIA programme to a higher degree combining its professional international certificate with a full Masters academic title.
